Hey everyone, i used to frequent Parts.Toyota.com to look up part numbers and diagrams as i work on most stuff myself. Anyone know of another good site to look this up on? It seems as though Parts.Toyota.com is no more and it is now redirecting you to autoparts.toyota.com which doesn't seem very helpful for diagrams.

    Any input would be appreciated

Are you talking about these diagrams?

I typically use toyotaparts.bochtoyotasouth.com since that's where I get a lot of parts from.

The old site used to have a diagram at the top and then it would list out all of the part numbers below referencing the diagram above. I will check that site out, thanks!

The new autoparts.toyota site seems to be working for me. Its a different interface and feel, but that might be a good thing in the long run. I would more often than not end up going through a dealer site like mentioned above cause the old parts.toyota.com wasn't always super helpful.

Clicking on that 2nd image gives a nice clear full-size version, but none of the related part numbers are links. At least not in that example.

I think @EatSleepTacos had some sketch russin refence website that was pretty good with part numbers too :D But I cant recall the name / if that is still live

Fortunately there is a much less sketchy option now. See quote below.

OP I'm glad you started this thread as I was thinking about starting one myself on this topic. I noticed the change in domain name as well, but it appears to be the current acting official Toyota OEM parts website. However, let's just hope this is temporary until they launch a new & improved one because what they have right now (compared to the old one) is an absolute piece of shit! And yes, there are alternative Toyota parts website, but none of them were as comprehensive and detailed as the original parts.toyota.com (plus it linked you straight to any Toyota dealer who sold online).

From the area. It was nice when they had a pickup option. They offer discounts, but the shipping can out-weigh the discount now.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
It’s a shitshow! I called the dealer to check on my order and they said that have not received shit. Explained the situation fwd conf. Email and they said that the system changes and they have not received training or even memo’s pertaining to the issue. Anyway they got my part next day respecting what I paid online.

Nice! I'm far enough north that there are a number of closer dealers, but I did just order a part through them. I'm certainly close enough to be familiar with the good old Ernie Boch Jr. "come on down" commercials.. lolol.

    beat me to it

partsouq.com is by far the best place to look up part numbers and diagrams, plug in your VIN and you'll get all of them pertaining to your exact vehicle

I know some people even order parts off Partsouq.com, ships from Dubai and arrives faster than shipping from within the US does sometimes

@CS_AR that's been your experience ordering parts for your Landcruiser if I remember right?

You can call them about pickup. For some things they are fine with it.

Yep. It's about time zones, working on Sunday, and FedEx flights from Dubai to Memphis.

    My typical routine is

Saturday 8 AM - work on truck.
Saturday 8 PM - order parts that need from morning work.
Sunday 8 AM - Dubai time - business opens - order received
Sunday 5 PM - Dubai time - parts shipped.
Tuesday 11 AM parts received at my back door.

If I order domestically, the earliest I will receive the parts would be Wednesday afternoon -- unless it's an overnight dealer-fulfilled order.

I asked about it last time I was there. They said they'd do it for large items like wheels or glass or other large parts.

New site says how many models are compatible with some parts, but doesn’t list out specifics anymore like the old website used to….

and that was my favourite feature to use to find which parts i could just use from a junkyard corolla/matrix for my celica… now that info doesnt show up

New site doesn't seem very accurate. I set my vehicle as 2019 4Runner, and when I look up headlamps, it gives me results for 10-13 4Runner, which is incompatible. The compatibility listing wasn't great anyway. If look up smoked headlamps for a 2009 Tacoma, it doesn't show compatibility for 05-08, which they work just fine.
