09 taco ; Because I imedietly had an alarm with autodoor locks put on when new I never used the key to unlock the pass side door lock. In any case the pass side lock cylinder will lock but not unlock with the key I guess cause I never used it. Has anyone repaired this or know of a repair thread, cost $$$ etc. Thanks

My Tacoma did this - have you tried WD-40? No problems since. And yes, 09's did have a passenger-side key cylinder.

Yep wd and penetrator oil. Never noticed before but the actuator makes a noise wen locking or unlocking the driver door but only when locking on pass door. Ive never had to take the door panel off so a insruct thread would helpful.
