    It's getting there.
If anything a car into a stationary car will be slightly less 'damage' than a wall, because of the crumple zones of the stationary car. You can see and the data proved that 50 mph car to 50 mph car is extremely close to 50 mph car to stationary wall.

If you're still interested here's the math explanation: http://warp.povusers.org/grrr/collisionmath.html

Another way to think of it is like this:

If a car of mass = M and velocity = 50 mph hits a brick wall, what force is the brick wall applying on it?
Presumably the car is going to come to a complete stop crumpled against the wall. In order to stop an object of Mass M and speed = 50mph, what force do you have to act on it? The same force it was acting on you, but on the opposite direction (if it was more or less, then either the wall or car would be pushed backwards). Thus, the force the wall acts on the car is the force of an object of mass M going 50mph. That right there is the same force that an identical car would have hitting it at speed of 50mph head on.

In the link I posted above they mention that crumple zones of cars and the consistency of materials is different vs a brick wall, but all that does is make it so the brick wall does more damage than the head on collision (unlike the opposite assumption that the head on collision produces more force):

"(Ok, in reality there will be some differences because the consistency of a rock wall is very different from a consistency of a vehicle, but this only means that hitting the rock wall will be more severe than hitting the other car, although probably not by a lot.)"

It's really interesting physics for sure, but when you do the math (or look at real examples), it all adds up.

I looked into the seat belt clip but i had a car that ate one and i couldnt get it out of the buckle. it also didnt stop the chiming, just wanted to make sure that wouldnt happen in the yota.

can't say actual weight for the toyota but I know in my parents subaru if my dad puts his laptop on the passenger seat it sets off the sensor.

You could also just get Carista and disable it yourself and change some other things.
My seatbelt chime is disabled from it so ya.
