I have manual locks and now my door won't open from the inside or outside. If you pull on the outside handle and play with the lock it will eventually come free. A few minutes ago I got it open and sprayed some oil in the latch and played with it and it's stuck in the lock position. so it won't shut. It started to rain so I had to cover it up. Any ideas on what it could be?

You'll have to remove the panel and weather guard, then take a look.
We can't do that for you :D

Haha figured I'd ask while I'm waiting on the rain to pass.

yep you need to get it out to check it but it sounds like your latch mechanism has gone bad, they wear until they get to the point of jamming and you just replace them. some have played with it and tried to push grease in them and that can work if its just rusty but most times the metal has just worn away and there is no fixing that.

if you find its bad I have one from my 04 I could sell you, I just switched over to oem power locks on mine, let me know if you need it.

Thanks man. I'm gonna take the door panel off in the morning and take a look. I'm pretty sure it's the mechanism. If so I'll definitely buy the locks from you.
