I have a 2018 TRD Offroad with the JBL stereo. Two years ago, installed a new JVC head unit with Maestro that has been great. Upgraded the sound with the stock speakers.

A couple weeks ago, I installed the Kicker door speaker upgrade from TrailGrid Pro. Everything went fine and it sounds great except… there is now a buzzing noise coming from the front passenger tweeter. It comes and goes. Will start and stop. It is driving me crazy.

TrailGrid Pro has been fantastic with their support. They have sent me out new tweeters and new passive crossover wiring harnesses. I have tried EVERY combination of new tweeter and wiring harness, but the buzzing persists. There doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason for when it wants to buzz, but it happens more often than not. I feel like there is a loose wire somewhere that may have been jostled during install, but who knows.

I am about to start tearing out everything to track it down, but the 120 degree heat in Vegas is keeping me from the project.

Has anyone had this issue? Were you able to find the culprit? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you much!!
