Contemplating racing stripes, a NOS sticker, & some glasspacks. I hear they make you go faster...
My passenger seat rattles, at idle, while unoccupied. It stops when I steady it & seems to be coming from the seat tracks.

Suggestions not involving sand bags, duct tape, bailing wire, jb weld, or other idiotic remedies would be greatly appreciated. :crapstorm:

I assume you have got in there and poked around looking for the source of the rattle. If it's a loose bolt I have found adding a lock washer and/or some loctite works well.

All of the bolts are tight & there is no slack where the brackets mount to the floor; the slack is definately in the tracks. I'm thinking about clamping & pinching the track rails to tighten them up, but I was hoping to hear from someone whose tackled this issue previously.

Did you ever find a cure for this? My 2000 as the same issue.

A very late reply, but documented for prosperity! :p

My passenger seat rattled and I took some wood clamps and squished the seat tracks at both ends to help secure the seat.

    Works like a charm!

Ice Horse said hers rattled and it was a dried out bushing. Just lube it up and she's good to go.

    (no innuendoes intended... kinda)
