Has anyone else experienced their passenger seat sounding like it is loose when driving on bumpy terrain? Even with lightweight passengers I’ve had one tell me it feels loose, but looking at it everything seems gtg. Take it to Toyota?

My is and shakes, even on smooth as glass roads. Don't know why, but it's done it since the day I bought it.

Mine does not always latch on both sides after moving the seat. I sit in it and move it back and forth or move it with my hand to get both sides to latch. Could be.

I had a noise coming from passenger seat over bumpy terrain. It took 4-5 visits to dealer to finally get them in truck for a rid along. It was diagnosed as a broken weld on seat frame.

I had rattling issues in both my seats. If you take them fully out of your truck and flip then over, there are little metal posts on the bottom front of the rails. These help guide the seat in during assembly I assume... i chopped all 4 off and havent heard a peep out of either seat since.

Mine did, seat bracket was the issue. Dealer replaced under warranty. It still does sometimes, determined it was the headrest. Pulled the headrest out and no more noise. Keep forgetting to use something to squeeze the rods closer together.

Mine does, addressed at 5k service. has only been slightly better since dealer tightened the brackets but still a huge annoyance to me. Especially on days like today where Ill be driving 150+ miles solo stupid thing just rattles and shakes the entire trip.

Edit 10k service is coming up in a couple months Ill complain about it again, annoying but not annoying enough to bring it in for service when a scheduled visit is upcoming

Mine does too. I searched this forum and found a few posts on this issue.

Basically, if its not that the seat is not fully locked in place than take it to the dealer if its too annoying. I will likely have them look at it next time its in.

I stuffed a microfiber fiber cloth today in the crack of the seat between the back and the seat and it stopped. Needs just a little more padding or some kind of an adjustment and it would stop

Mine did this when the seat was put all the way back and not locked into place. If I moved it slightly forward to lock, would be fine with no passenger.

I found the rear bolts of the passenger seat loose. That was causing rattle.

I took mine into the dealer and had them look at the seat. They said they took the seat out "adjusted it" and replaced it. When I left the dealership I slid the seat back all the way and it rattled worse then before I took it in. If I move it forward an inch or so it's silent now.
