my passenger seat sounds like its loose and rattles loud when going over big bumps. Anyone else have this and if so is there any way to quiet it down?

See if the bolts holding the seat in place are tight.

Might be looseness in the track. Try checking the adjustment bar to make sure it is fully seated in the position grooves. I’ve heard this before in my truck and that may have helped. I’m still checking it out. Might also be the seat back. Interested if you figure it out 100%.

Mine does it too drives me crazy when i pay attention to it

its not the track or bolts, its like the whole seat assembly has a bit of play in it (and no one really ever sits in it)

Mine did it for quite a while when the truck was brand new and it drove me nuts trying to track down the rattle. It wound up being that the upper part of the seat would shake and rattle the center console cover. I stuck something between them to act as a buffer and that stopped it. After a while I took the buffer out and the rattle didn't return

Depending on the road my passenger seat does this too

If you recline the seat back a smidge and change the angle it helps a great deal with my truck

Move the seat one notch forward from the rear-most setting. Mine had the same issue and that solved it. Cheap to at least try.

How would you know about the driver seat? I’m truly perplexed.

The truck is parked in the driveway and I move each seat one at a time and both have a little wiggle to them.
