    I wouldn't say all oe toyota parts are made in Japan.

    I bought a switch from a local dealer last year, package states "made in Japan" actual part was labeled "made in China" long story short the dealer order three more of the exact part number and they're label the same except for one, package label made in usa, part was stamped made in Mexico? Got my refund, toyota Corp lame excuse was: part was made in China, assembled in Japan. I really thought I was buying quality Japan part, might want to reconsider....

    End up buying online and save about 35.00 buck compared to buying at stealership.
