Every winter since I've had my truck, the passenger side door locks sticks. When I go to unlock the door (fob/switch) the lock only goes up about 3/4 of way and the door can't open. Every time I'll have to lean over and pull the lock up the remainder of the way.

This ONLY happens when it's cold outside. I've taken the door panel off to look at it and lube it but it looked fine and the grease didn't make a difference.

    Any ideas?

What type of grease are you using ??

It might not be as fluid at Lower Temperatures

It might be the button itself causing to much drag

I've been using a silicone lube on the mechanism. What do you mean by the button itself?
