I recently pulled into my driveway and noticed a noise from the rear end.

I got out and pushed down on the rear bumper, sure enough. Click, click, click.

I jumped back in started the truck, pushed the brake and had a buddy push down on the bumper. No click while pressing the brake.

Release the brake and the click happens when you compress the suspension and leaf. It happens as the truck almost reaches the top of the stroke.

I’m assuming it’s coming from the drum brake but I’m not positive.

    Anyone experienced this before?

I checked it again it’s the damn leaf spring. Minor though now that I know.

I’d rather it be the leaf then the brakes. A good excuse for a lift.
