agreed. while just replacing a ball joint does not warrant a full alignment, due to the fact his wheel was buried in the wheel well means that needs done.

^this is maybe my thought as well. could be the upper section bent. seems there are shims for caster/camber on the 2wd models

Its isolated to that side where it ground into the ground...I bet its just in those parts on that side. I second the motion to replace all ball joints and tie rods bushings etc...then get a proper alignment done.

    OP here.

So replaced the tie rod ends and upper ball joints. Went ahead and did an alignment. The mechanic said that in order to get the settings according to recommended specs he will need to shim.

    I'm searching for the part(s?):

    What all do I need?

Umm... Find a new tech... if there is anything at risk of being bent, you're driving very dangerously and need to get your truck fixed. A tech should be able to do an alignment no matter what. If there are damaged parts that means the alignment wont last very long and the tech should recommend what needs to be replaced. Your original post doesn't have any confidence that your tech knows what he's doing.

Also, NOTHING is at the risk of being bent. Not in this situation. I can't imagine he has all the right tools to do the job.
