My passenger electric window will not go up or down. I have a 2007 Access. I checked the lock button on the driver side. I tried the passenger button (although it did work once, then failed too.) Hoping it's not the motor. I checked the fuse; nope.
    Suggestions??

Most likely the window regulator. Rockauto.com is going to be your best price for one. They are a pretty easy install if you have the tools

Best thing to do is pull the door panel and check for power at the motor. If you have power and ground pull the motor off and see if it turns. If it works fine then suspect a stuck regulator. These regulators in our trucks are very simple. If you don't have power at the motor suspect a bad switch.

It's probably also worth it to check where the wires go from the door into the truck underneath a little rubber cover. We thought my friends window regulator went out on her Chevrolet Equinox. It turned out the wires just snapped from being flexed where the door attaches. Just had to splice them back together.

Just a note if you don't already know, All of the power windows are grounded through the drivers side master control panel.

I understand that the passenger window doesn't work from the passenger control switch and it also doesn't work with the drivers side control switch either?

If neither work I would suspect either the regulator motor or the regulator itself is hung.

The part I received has a cable with a female end on it. The original does not. While it fits, the motor only goes in one direction. There are only two prongs in the receptacle. The original has more.
Does anyone know what part number I need? Or should I just buy the motor? It seems the motor alone costs more than the whole regulator and motor.

By the way, there is power to the motor. It makes a noise but does not budge.

Take the motor off the gear assembly. Can you move the gears manually and easily. If yes probably the motor. If not try a light lubricant to see if that helps.

Thanks. Gears move smoothly. Motor operates when removed but only in one direction, same as the replacement.
    Ideas?

Are tge gears easy to move? Will either motor move the gears in any direction? If so sounds like it might be a switch or wire problem.

The gears move easily. The motor will move the gears only in One Direction. The switch on both the passenger door and drivers door will only move the gears in One Direction.

Potsech, thanks for the suggestion. I'll get the switch(es) check. Not sure how to do that.

Ok, got new switch; now driver's side switch operates window up and down; passenger side switch does not operate window at all. Getting frustrated. And it's HOT...97 degrees!!

Check the fuse for the passenger side window. That fuse only supplies power to the passenger window switch. The fuse that supplies the master switch supplies power for all windows WHEN they are operated from the master switch.

You can rob a fuse from the LR or RR PW locations. Yes, Toyota put all 4 fuses in there, in the access cabs.

You guys are smart! Might you, by chance, know what I should check for my whole driver side power controls being bad? Whole meaning everything on the driver door, the wondows, locks & mirrors. The passenger window dowant work either. Only thing that does work is passenger lock button. We have searched the service manual for the location of the main relay (under the steering wheel area) but what we thought might be it was so hard to get out to test my friend just quit on me! Might you guys know what powers all that? All other fuses are good

I would look onto the drivers door switch being bad. Over time the contacts inside get worn and dirty. They are possible to take apart and clean but it's tedious and can easyily brake. Check for power coming in and out of the switch
