passive radiator sub

    I was looking into adding a passive radiator sub with my jl 10 slim,Will that give more bass?Never tried one was not sure if it was worth it?

    You mean just adding one to an existing setup? If your enclosure is accidentally the right size to accommodate it, then it will probably be a nice improvement. However the chances of that are pretty slim. Like ported enclosures, you need more space for a PR.

    They're awesome though. I have a pair of Polk S8 monitors with radiators that I use quite a lot. They're 2-ways - a 7 inch midwoofer & 1 inch silk dome tweeter with a 7" PR. I don't need a subwoofer with these. They play that low. And it's the PR that brings it home.

    Thank you! I would have a new box built for my tacoma with my 10' jl slim and radiator,That is what i was thinking of doing next just never used one before.
