    I got a new laptop for Christmas - this is on my old one - and I forgot my password to be able to sign in on the new one???

    I don't see a way to change it???

    if its windows you can make a bootable thumb drive and use Hiren's Boot USB to run a tool to change the local admin password and get back in.

    or just reset windows since its new and theres nothing to lose on it
