Yea!!!!! Just what we needed... a bunch of religious rhetoric

I hate to pull up on scenes like this but unfortunately this type of thing is a common occurrence (albeit not a Porsche Carrera GT).

Thoughts go out to his family and friends.

    RIP Paul Walker.

No one on earth can shift 26 gears as quickly as you could, or drive 130mph while staring into the eyes of some chick the way you could.

We will always appreciate how awesome you were in the fast and furious movies.

Also to the guy posting the tin foil hat religions BS, STOP.

The F&F movies had a huge influence on me! Despite how cheesy they are, without it, I doubt I would ever have become an automotive enthusiast. Very few movies and actors had any impact on my life… except for this guy.

My second and third cars were 100% influenced by these movies… 2000 FBP Honda Civic Si and a 2005 Dodge SRT-4. Hell, I even bought my current Civic; my EBP 2000 Civic Si, because of this.

The only reason I didn't get a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX was because they were hella expensive after this movie came out. Even my current truck is a result of these movies… without them I'd never started customizing any vehicle.

Before the first movie I wanted a damn PT Cruiser… how retarded was that!

    RIP, man

right? I was a stupid kid… who didn't know jack about cars, and I was super poor, I just wanted A CAR. My next door neighbor had one and I though it was "so cool" … I shake my head about it now.

    It was technically Rodas' fault...

These accidents aren't "random". Rodas lost control of his car while driving it.

We'll see what the investigation reveal but stock Porsche aren't likely to blow up hitting a tree the engine is in the back for Pete's sake. It probably got nos tank inside the car.

Friend don't let friend drive nos

kinda what i was thinking. but it you look at the car it’s better bad! and the tree does not look all that big. looks like it’s maybe 1’ or so maybe less across?

true but didn't he flip it as well?

i guess it really maters where the fuel tank/cell is and not the engine it self as much.

like how some cars and suv’s are bad about bursting into flames in bad rear end collisions.

I've been in a real bad head on collision where one of our friend was hospitalized for serious life injuries on impact like this everything in the car shut off. Not saying it would never happened the car blew up but I like to know what causes the fire and hope it comes out so we can learn.

hmm. maybe they got sod ways rear of car hit the pole and “bounced” and than hit the tree?

I also saw a report that they hit a bridge? from all the photos dose not look like a bridge is anymore close.
