    hopefully speed was the only thing illegal since they had to be going uber fast to explode a mid engined car unless the gas tank is up front for weight distribution.

    either way its extremely sad news and thoughts go out to his family and friends.

    also the only way this could've been more ironic is if it was in a GTR or Charger

    I heard on the news today that the car he was driving would do 220mph+ stock... No idea how fast they were going though...

    yeah im a huge car guy and i know that porsches are no joke especially the GT and for them to explode they had to be doing some sort of speed. it wouldnt have happened if he was driving ...just saying

    I think what was confusing was that there actually was a hoax floating around a few days prior to the actual tragedy of him dying...

    since nobody can seem to keep this thread on topic, I'm closing it temporarily. If another one is started I will delete it.
