    You're 23 and you've been married 6 years? I bet you didn't get much of a "married drop" when you were 17 b/c of you're age. You might just be in line for a big dip when you turn 25. I dunno. I'd like to hear, but what are the chances either of us remembers in 2011???

    Good luck either way.

    EDIT: A friend of mine and I were talking about this over lunch today b/c his wife just turned 25 and he didn't know if they'd get a rate drop or not. He called his agent (State Farm) and was told that once you're married you get the lower rate. There's not another drop at 25. Again... i don't know if that's the rule, but that's what my buddy told me.

    I traded a 2006 Regular Cab; 2.7L; 5 spd manual; 52K miles (paid $12.5K new)(original tires) for a 2009 AC; 4.0L; Auto; PreRunner (Stickered for $23k). Dealer sent me a letter stating that they would give me 125% Blue Book. Ended up getting $10K for 2006 in trade. Payment is $330 a month.

    So get this...I swapped an 06 Elantra and an 07 Santa Fe for my 09 access cab Tacoma TRD 4X4 and an 09 Yaris. I had a total negative equity of approximately 9k. I used Toyota Financial and gave them zero down and was able to keep my payments the same. I was financed at 8.1%. I pay 530 on the truck and 320 on the car. Establishing and then building credit can be a bitch but in the long run, it's worth it. I purchased a brand new condo in Las Vegas two months prior to the vehicle swap. Zero down on the condo, 117k financed at a 30 year fixed at 5%. 780 bucks a month on the condo. Thanks V.A.!! I've brought my credit score from a 494 to a 730 in a little over 40 months with proper borrowing and frugal spending. I must say that I do suck at the whole haggle process though. I could have spent another 10 hours in the dealership bullshitting with them but I just wanted to get out of there with two new vehicles and keeping my payments the same. Plus, I had my two kids who are under two years old getting a bit hungry and fussy with me at the time. I just said here's what I want, make it happen. If you can't, then thanks for your time...they made it happen.
