$489 a month at 7.99% with 0 down and a negative equity trade (don't ask). Also purchased the GAP insurance as well as the extended warranty on the used 2005 Double Cab SR5 with 39k when purchased in October of 2007. Not the best deal, but hey I'm driving a Taco:D

I am going to try and keep the truck to 250k, so really the financials won't matter by that time.

Well, I do OK, and I'm cheap as hell (besides my truck, obviously)... so the money has to go someplace!

Basically, I have X amount I have to spend on rent, food, bills, going out, etc. After that, I typically have around 2k left, I usually dump it into savings. Well, I have over 6 months of savings in my savings account, so I figured I'd get out of debt, since there's nothing to invest in that's going to get me 4% right now (which is what I'm losing in interest on my loan.)

Also, it sounds like a lot of people bought / buy based on payment amounts... this is generally a horrible idea, because the dealer can get your payments down by extending the length of the loan. Don't do it! :)

well first my gf weighs 108lbs and loves to eat, yet doesnt gain weight. this would explain why i've gained 15lbs since i met her 2 years ago and why we spend about $100 every 2 weeks eating out.

she likes the mall, i do too...affliction clothing from buckle tends to get expensive. i'm a big wvu fan so i buy a lot of tickets for their games. my truck is a big expense too but i havent bought anything for it in awhile. oh and i pay $280 a month for insurance on 2 vehicles + my $432.51 truck payment.

plus now next week i have to pay at least $500 for a procedure. i have a bridge i have to pay before my insurance will kick in...sucks. i have to admit ive began to cut back. im paying a little more on principle between payments. once my bonus and safety bonus check comes in in january ill be able to pay a lot of my loan off.

Ahh, I see, so you COULD pay $1000 or $1500 a month, but you like to buy wvu tickets and clothes, and you're stuck with a procedure right now. The latter part sucks, and as for the former part... I just choose not to spend any money on clothes, because I'm a cheap bastard. :D
