    $636/month with no down payment.

I didn't get raped, I actually got quite a good deal. I just had the damn thing loaded to the gills.

Financed all of it through my credit union at 4.75%.

Actually pay about $1000/month into it, looking to get it paid off early.

480 month, Zero down, 09 DB LB 4x4 TRD Sport. 5 year note though.

If I listen to Dave Ramsey and paid cash for everything I would be driving a 18 year old Yugo and living in a trailer. We all can pay cash for everything we buy but why? the only two things I owe money on are my New truck and my house. I have almost three times as much equity in house as I owe and at this point the truck is worth what I owe.

This is a good point, paying cash for everything all the time is not wise. You have to weigh out the time value of cash, the finance rate you pay for borrowing, and the rate of return on what you save. This applies to cars, houses, or credit cards.

Sometimes paying cash is better, sometime it's not.

Unless you don't have good self-control with credit cards ... then you should pay cash.
