I bought mine when I was 21, and put $0 down, what a dumb-ass decision that was...

When I traded my 06 in for my 09, with all the rebates and incentives, plus tax blah blah blah I think I was left with like 9 grand. I financed that through Toyota (One of the rebates required I finance with Toyota) and my payment was $118 per month :D. When the first bill came due, I just paid it off.

My payment? $0 per month. That probably doesn't help the OP, but neither do the rest of our answers.

Double Cab TRD Off Road, automatic, 7yr/100k extended warranty.

I think we financed around $24k at 4.9% for 60 months through Toyota Financial. It comes out to just under $450/mo.

Mine could be as low as $450's at 1.9% or as high as almost $600 at 1.9%...sucks but it will be worth it.

I am sitting at $800/month with a fairly short term loan. I am also just going back to school this year which will suck big time to keep up with the payments!

Good thing I saved all that money from when I won a harley!

I'm not too hot on him. Most of his "advice" is common sense, and some of it, like "never finance anything ever", is just bad.
