    I made the 304 stainless steel roof rack. The rack bolts to a couple of yakama tracks. The two ARB 2000 awnings are easily removable by disconnecting two 5/16th bolts. I plan on using one with a room for sleeping and the other for shade.

    I also mounted a 175 watt made in USA solar panel from fred480v on eBay.

    The panel kicks ass. At 5pm with the sun setting it was making almost 4 amps. At 1pm the next day it was making 9 amps! My solar charger, a flex charger, is only rated to 7 amps and cycles on and off after 7 amps. My old flexible 100 watt renolgy panel on ever made 4 amps in the summer sun. I will be upgrading to a Bogart Engineering SC2030 and using the flex charger and 100 watt panel to maintain my starting battery in the dodge or one off my off road trailers when needed.

    The truck was also prepped for flat towing. I installed a light kit into the rear taillights and welded a tab onto the license plate to hold tow bar while not flat towing. The next thing to install is the SMI duo brake kit in the truck.

    All stainless parts drill and ready for welding.

    Bent and drilled some 1/8th inch 304 for mounting the panel.

    10000 lb. blue ox tow bar with pintle hitch. Hitch can convert to a 2 inch ball also.

    Good buy airbags!!!!!!!!

    I purchased a set of all pro expedition springs. There are two main benefits to running real springs vs. the firestone air bags. The first is the amount of droop and suspension travel gained from having real springs vs. bags. The bags probably had 5 inches of usable travel at 60 psi. The expo spring pack should net over 9 inches of travel. The second is being able to run a bumpstop again.

    Running lift springs has given me more up and down travel along with a more comfortable ride.


    I installed Wheeler super bumps along with a u bolt flip kit.

    Out with the old bags.
