I'm on the fence and curious to know your opinions for what to powder coat these.

Satin black so you can easily touch them up because you will scratch/bang em up if you're going to wheeling.

Is there any added strength in a wrinkle finish or is it just purely for looks?

Only if you get wrinkle finish from like a bed liner. Those are a lot more durable but will add weight/cost more.

If you plan on using your armor like intended, I would stay away from PC and just paint them. That way when they get buggered up, you can just touch it up and call it good.

    Looks only.

As others have said, if you have the ability to paint yourself do that. Sliders will lose any coating you put on them if they are used for their intended purpose.

My rear has Line-X on it and it failed the first time I went out. I can get it fixed for free but that's a pain in the ass. With spray paint I could fix it myself

A buddy just had his line-x'd sliders get jacked up. Used some flex seal and it's all good now. Obviously not perfect, but it works.

Couldn't I just touch up the scratched bits with a rattle can, so long as the color is close?

You can, that's what I do. But depending on your level of care on such things you might be bothered by the difference in color.

There's a guy on here who touched up his PC'd arb bumper with rattle can, and it looked terrible.

The damage on mine is on the edge where it dragged over a rock, it's in a spot that would be hard to put back together with flex seal.
