Aiming headlights in 18* weather sucks! Haha work in them for a couple minutes and then sit in my truck where I've got the heater blasting lol

Slowly getting them adjusted. They were flickering just slightly for a little bit, but it went away once they warmed up I think. Don't have the greatest ground for one of them either though.

Haha I don't go outside to work on my truck when it's cold here in austin, and it never drops below 30! I don't see how you can be out in 18* weather!

Nut up or shut up, I did my retrofit last November in -10* haha. I broke a lot of plastic bits that day. May they rest in peace...

Haha I don't want to be, but there's no point in waiting to do it because it won't be any warmer than this at night for a while. Otherwise I'm the same way you are!

For sure! Haha I thought it was going to have to be modified because it was so low. But the driver side housing was just aimed as far down as it could go.

Got them aimed nearly even and tightened down the lock rings as much as I could, but where the tabs on the H4 adapter plates line up on the back of the housing are still moving around because the tabs aren't wide enough to fill the gap. I can move the projector with my hands if I turn hard enough, so I'm just going to fill the gaps with somme jb weld. It'd probably be fine without it, but still.

About to start working on running the wiring for the halos and then jb weld the shrouds on.

    Thanks!
Adjusting them more or less just means making sure the projectors them selves aren't tilted. So I just hooked everything up to my truck and installed the headlights without the lenses on them and figured out where I had to hold them as I tighten the lock ring.

Aiming the actual light just involved adjusting the headlights like you would on any vehicle. I just wanted to get them close to where they're supposed to be to make sure I didn't have to do something to the projector. I'm going to aim them perfect once I get everything finished.

I wouldn't say it's hard. It's just very time consuming.

I was messing with it for about 12 hours yesterday. And I've been working on it for about 4 hours today. But I've also been taking my time with it and all of that time is including the hours spent waiting for the paint to dry.

It's a very interesting mod as well so I've been taking the time to learn how all of it works.

Definitely recommend a second set of headlights so you're not rushing it.

The wiring harness that it comes with makes it simple. Everything's labeled and you just match them up. Ballast plugs into the ballast, and projector plugs into projector. All you have to do is find a place for a ground near each headlight and run the one power cable to the battery.
