Ah, cool! Also, it's impossible to remove the grill unless I unbolt my headlights as soon as I get access to the bolts.... So if there's anything you've thought about doing that involves removing your grill, I suggest doing it beforehand haha

Good call. Do you know what the diameter is on the tubes? I'm guessing 1.5 but not sure. Also check this picture out on elites web site. I will be welding very close to the grill!

I'm not sure on diameter, but yeah it's probably 1.5".

Yeah, that will be close. Closer than mine haha I forgot about the sloping top instead of the flat top most bumpers have.

I was wondering about that. I hope my bumper won't be like that becuase I still want to do a satoshi or mesh insert at some point. But I didn't get a full guard so I may be OK.

The only reason it's hard to remove is because of the headlight hoops, you'll be fine.

Excellent. I would have just thrown the whole bumper away if it didn't work.

Played around in the snow today. Should have taken my GoPro.

No new updates other than I either need to try to grease my u-joints again, replace a u-joint, grease the carrier bearing, or replace the carrier bearing. It's squealing pretty bad now...

They're aimed down as fogs so people will stop flashing their brights at me haha

Still waiting for access to a welder so can weld the fog light tabs to the bumper...

D2 problems :pout: lol. Mine are aimed super low too. But I use amber lenses with mine for fogs. Haven't been flashed once. I don't think I'll be able to aim them low enough in my bumper to use as fogs. We'll see though.

They help a bit. I still think my projectors alone are the best in heavy snow.

I still need to re-aim mine. My high beams suck because they point up too high so the just light up the tops of the trees. Just don't want to have to attempt to get the grille out from behind the headlight hoops again in the cold...

Maybe, who knows. I'll play around with it on the next warm day.

Just wondering how much of a pain was it to change ur headlights to the amber halo's? I have the halo projector ccfl headlights and id like to take them from the blue to red to match the truck. AKA demon eyes.

Demon eyes are inside the projector lense not on the outside if you didn't know

I'm kind of confused as to what you're asking? I didn't change my headlights to just halos. I installed a retrofit into my stock housings. It shouldn't be hard to switch out the halos on your headlights for red halos. Just have to bake the headlights to separate the lenses and then remove the old halos. You'll just have to find out what size the original halos are.

Keep in mind that red will be illegal to have on while driving. Also, that's not what the demon eyes mod is. The original demon eye mod is where you paint the cutoff shield behind the projector red like so.

The new take on the demon eye mod is where people insert a red LED behind the projector. Like so

If you do paint for the demon eye, you paint those three pieces. But then again he has after market lights , so who knowsy9u9aruv_bf6f912a1f7cc4e397b1c739c43e0cdbef5484ec.jpg

Yup, on mine you only paint two pieces. All equate to the same name pretty much, cutoff shield haha that's why I used that word.
