I like the mounting of the rotopax cans. Looks good if you get that done

Ya I'm hoping to get enough from taxes this year so I can get a camper shell and do some mods inside it. Maybe rotopax mount on the roof? Lol

Haha maybe! Just depends on how you want to mount on RTT!

My taxes will either go to another bumper or a bed rack. Just depends on whether or not Elite starts taking orders again...

I would like to be able to get 4 on the bed rack. So I can get an emergency pack, water pack, and 2 gas packs.

Yaa that was my choice at first. Well I may not mount the RTT on top of the camper shell. I don't feel comfortable with the amount of weight on top. May look into a trailer down the road so I have a large water tank and what not

True. I've seen some do it before but it does seem like a lot of weight to me as well. :notsure:

What I might do is get a small water tank that can sit on my wheel well and run a small pump to it for showers and stuff.

Bed rack Brent! You just got the bumper, rock it for awhile, get the bed rack then if you still want an Elite make it further down the road. If you get it now, almost wasted money on the Relentless. :smack:

Ya that would be a good idea. And ya I see people do it like homer and like the people on expedition overland but I didn't spend like 1k on a topper to have it crack due to to much weight on top.

Haha well my reasoning for getting another bumper soon is because I need to get skids. And there's not point in buying skids and modifying them to fit the Relentless when I don't plan to keep it.
Yeah, haven't put much thought into water storage... I'd love to mount a thin tank underneath the top of the bed rack so it would be out of the way and have gravity on it's side. But then it would drastically limit me view out the back.

    My 2 cents

Canopy over bedrack, the canopy stays dry/warm and you could mount stuff on the roof and the inside..

Nah, they were too mangled up when I took them off to install the bumper haha
I had a canopy when I bought the truck, didn't care for it. I don't need dry storage, that's what an RTT is for.

I can actually get more storage out of the bed rack than a canopy.

Man I totally forgot about those. Well you say that you would mount to the underside of the rack, now would the force of the water moving around in the tank damage the mounts or something on the tank?

Nah, because the way I'd probably mount it is by using 4 ratchet straps to keep it in place.
