Haha yeah, I only got up to 75 on the highway. Interested to see how the rear will handle differently over washboard type road...

Does anybody else's seat belt fray where it rubs near your shoulder? I'm trying to find a seat belt cover or something. But not one of those covers that are only about a foot long.

I did about an inch as well, but there was also no weight on the leafs. Only the weight of the axle pulling the leafs down.

What do you have in the bed of your truck other than the topper? My toolbox, c02 tank, and hi-lift add up to a lot more than a topper haha
Yup, Prius lover calling it a Mitsubishi

Well since the leafs were at full droop and I had to raise the axle no more than an inch I'd say that they are limiting the droop by that much.

Yes then you do weigh more than me. I only have maybe 100lbs haha I need to get a few more spare parts to carry around in my truck.

The droop is a issue if you flex out the truck and don't strap the axle.

If the leafs have absolutely no weight on them and the axle isn't resting on anything then wouldn't that technically be full droop? Unless you're talking about adding the weight if the wheels and tires.

Either way, as long as they last me a while and don't cause problems I'll be happy. I'll probably get longer travel shocks eventually. But that won't be until I can do a shock mount relocation. And even then who knows.

Hope I don't sound like a douche haha I'm genuinely curious.

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.
the axle isn't at full droop with just the weight of the axle pulling the leafs down. They will go down another 1 or more even with leaf separation once there is weight of the full vehicle on it.

Thats why if you get LT you take the leafs apart and use only the the main leaf and second on under that had the military wrap on the main leaf to check your travel numbers.

Getting longer shocks is kinda pointless unless they are like Timmy's and short bodys. But even then Timmy is like me with a 15-16'' long shock and need a bigger bump stop. So you loose about an inch or more of up travel for the gain of down travel.

Relocating the shocks will be more beneficail. And if Timmy did that as well he would have more gains then you just from a longer shock. But you won't see massive results with relocation and longer shocks vs just relocation.

Timmy will just out droop you by 1.5'' or more and could get an even longer shackle if he wanted as he has 2'' more down travel. same up travel i bet as you though.

Well, glad I decided against washing the truck today. The down-pouring rain is doing it for me! Haha
