No worries. Although those aren't the corner lights he is looking for. He is wanting the blacked out reflector ones like mine but they only come in a set with headlights.

Well maybe you can help me anyways. I was wanting to retrofit my headlights with D2s and my question is what would the best combo be? I've heard some good things and some not so good things about recent retrofits. What's your opinion on it?

I use it for almost everything. Very simple. My bank account is directly linked to it so the money comes out immediately and Paypal Bill Me Later is awesome. I can buy up to $1,000 worth of stuff and as long as it's over $100 I have 6 months to pay for it without interest. I usually just pay it off in two months. Gain a little credit and no interest.
Yup, I bough 100ft of 14 gauge at autozone haha
Best combo for what? Haha D2S are just that, D2s...

Just don't go over your bank account limit then haha

I've never heard of anybody's account being locked.

It's a lot easier to use when buying or selling stuff...

Like ballast, bulbs, wire harnesses, whether to get an o lens or an x lens. It just sounds like different mumbo jumbo that I don't really understand. I'm just asking if you have a little more knowledge than the average joe about retrofits.

Ah, okay. I'll just go down the list then.

For projectors, the O-lens is circular and the X-lens is square.

For bulbs, it really depends on how much you want to spend. the Osram nightbreakers are the brightest. But if you just want a cheap set then I recommend the 4300k 35w HID's.

As for wire harness, get the Motocontrol Bixenon H4/9003.

Ballasts are up to you. The more expensive ones should fire up quicker in theory. Just make sure not get the the 55 ballast if you aren't getting 55w bulbs, which I don't recommend.

Shrouds and halos are purely your opinion.

This is what I was looking for. Thanks for the info. I was kinda at a standstill as I had no idea what all that meant and no one to explain it to me. Thank you:thumbsup: do the projectors take time to warm up and produce light or are they instant?

No problem, happy to help!

They take a few seconds to warm up, probably 20-30 seconds to fully warm up in the cold. They take maybe 5 seconds when it's warm though.

You can still see as soon as you turn them on though.
