Yes, but the kit still has options like listed earlier. Which is what he asked. ;)

So finally got kind of an answer from All Pro about my bed rack....

When he realized it had been ordered all the way back on February 17th he was surprised. He said they'll send it out in the next day or two and send me a notification immediately.

I'm guessing it was just missed in the process of them moving to Montana, which is understandable. As long as I get it before April 12th I'll be happy...

Haha plus an actual place to mount my Hi-lift and some bed lights...

Still trying to decide how I want to mount my CO2 to the bed after this as well as where to stick my switches...

I think I'm just going to drill a couple of hole through the bed rack and rails again and mount the tank in the same area.

As for switches, I think I'm just going to utilize one of the bolts for the bed rack and mount a piece of aluminum just big enough to mount maybe 3 switches.

Are you going to bolt a bar of some kind from one side of the rack to the other? Maybe near the top of the bed by the rear window? Rumor is after running a bed rack for some time with a RTT and other stuff on it the bed rails can actually start to spread.

No, if anything I'd want to put a support bar closer to the tailgate. Not the front. I would expect the rear to be the weak point since the front has a whole front side.

But no, I haven't planned to make a support bar. No real good place to put it.

Make an X pattern from the base of each of the four posts? Then you'll have a platform under the rack itself...

Yeah, I don't want that. Will cause problems when throwing stuff in the bed such as an upright CO2 tank, fridge, other stuff...

Plus I still want it to be removable, which was why I got the bolt-together kit.

If I ever have a bedrack (been strongly considering it lately,) I'd have it made so it attaches directly to the bed of the truck, not the rails. But instead of having permanent feet, I'd have it so the rack slid into feet that were bolted to the bed and then just locked in place with pins drilled through the feet. So I could still remove it if possible, but still have it removable.

But I like my dry storage too much to get a bed rack. It rains too damn much here.

    So like what Jerry did?

Defeats the whole point of it

I'm not too worried about it bending. I've got the toolbox which will help with the support of the bed rails.

It would be nice to have a support bar in the back. It would just get in the way too much though.

    Eh, maybe someday.

Never really liked the idea of pulling a trailer behind me when wheeling. Maybe if I had a family that camped with me. Otherwise there's no need right now.

Yeah! I knew I saw something like that before, just couldn't remember where or who did it. I'd want it similar to that for sure. Only downside is you do lose some space in the bed where the feet are.

I really don't think the bed rails would spread apart if the racks legs were mostly vertical like this picture. Ones like Boxrocket makes would push the weight of the rack/RTT outwards on the bed rails rather than transferring it downward. No knock on his setup, just something I think may happen.
