Eh, not that bad. Doesn't take up much space at all.

Do you have to mount the tank upright. I know I read you have to use them when upright. I have room to mount mine underneath my toolbox.

Yes you want to keep them upright, it keeps the liquid co2 away from the regulator

You can store it sideways but typically want to let it sit upright for a little before use

Yes, you can mount it laying down.

As long as the spigot on top of the tank is in the closes position it's not going to hurt anything.

But, when you want to use them you do have to have it upright so that the liquid in the tank doesn't go through the regulator like you said.

Interesting. I've never seen anybody wait before. Other people that have CO2 laying down just set it up and use it immediately without issue.

I'll mount mine in the tool box. Then take it out once I air down and strap it down

Yeah, I'm sure it can't hurt to wait.

But it doesn't matter because I did it the easy way and left it upright. No moving around a heavy tank for me.

    Boring and slow haha

But, I will get one of them fancy dual ARB compressors when it's time for an air locker. Be nice to have both options.

Eh a few extra minutes to air up maybe once a day. Not really losing any useful time. Plus not having to store or get a tank filled.

Yeah, could be argued either way.

Cheaper for quite a few fill-ups, no battery drain, etc..

You're not getting an external tank for the compressor?

Negative. Dont have a current need to run air tools nor do i have any air tools i own. Ha. Never had an issue with good ole ratchets.

True. I'll probably do it eventually, but who knows how long that will be.

I'd much rather have air tools for trail fixes. Sucks to have to work on the truck in the dirt let alone when you have a seized bolt with hand tools...

Dirt/garage floor, all the same to me. Just put anti-seize on everything and shouldnt be any issues.

Also keep some atf and acetone around to mix for penetrator. Air tools take up more space also.
