For $20, it can't hurt to try. You gonna tackle that lift again soon? Your truck is going to be looking tight pretty soon!

Yeah, I'll probably go ahead and order the spacer along with some black lug nuts...

As for the lift I'm going to start on it again after work Friday if I get off in time, then hopefully finish it up Saturday... I'm going to try this method...
"loosen the lower ball joint bolts & remove (4 of them), lower the ball joint, now loosen (do not take out !! ) the 2 bolts of your lower control arm (not really neccessary to mark the current adjustment location) this should allow your LCA to drop plenty to slide the assembled strut up into the strut/shock tower, put the 3 nuts on the studs to hold strut in place & you shouldn't have any problem aligning the lower bolt hole with the LCA"

Maybe it might help your overall time if you just get new ubolts. This way, you can just chop the old ones off and start fresh with new ones. I know you said they are fairly new, but still. Those nuts are a bitch!

    :D

Haha yeah, I'll start spraying again. Did the same thing last week. As for the u-bolts, I'm just going to order some when I get All Pro springs in a couple of months.

So I'm in the process of selling my old truck... I'm looking to get between $5,000-$6,000 out of it.
I'm debating whether or not to use the money I make selling it to go toward mods and just continue paying the loan, or just pay off the loan.... Payoff is about $4,000... Monthly payments on the loan are $169...
Having $5,000-$6,000 to add to the "mods account" would be nice though!

So in other words continue paying the $169 a month? Haha it would help build credit being that I'm 19 with not enough credit at all....

Sure is tempting, I could get both front and rear bumpers, sliders, skids, uca's.... No telling what else....

It all really comes down to what my dad says though... He cosigned for the loan and he may just want to get it out of his name and pay it off..

The smart thing to do would be to pay off the truck. But you could compromise. Pay half the loan off and rest go towards mods

Pay it off, it feels great to have a paid for truck.
Plus then you can buy mods with whatever you earn, and not have to worry about payments.
And the leftover should be enough for a front bumper at least.

A guy just test drove it and offered $4,500 cash tomorrow if his wife gives the OK... Looks like I'm probably gonna sell it, pay off the loan, and have $500 extra spending money. IF his wife gives him the OK. Better of just paying it off probably anyways, I'd probably get tired of making payments for a truck I don't own anymore! Haha

Wow, 4,500! Trucks are so cheap down there. I paid 8k for mine with 187,000 miles on it 3 years ago

No... I'm taking it somewhere Saturday to get it installed if weather permits.
After spending $80 and about 15 hours trying to get it installed I give up! Haha

Drove around in the snow for about 3 hours. Got stuck three times... Twice down a state park road, then once trying to get into a parking spot... Haha But I was able to maneuver out of all of them by myself eventually.
I'm amazed by how much of a difference a locker makes! I was able to do a lot more on stock tires than I expected!

Reason I got stuck the second time was because another truck was coming towards me and I tried to get out of the way. But I slid off into the ditch... So he was going to drive to a spot where he could turn around to pull me out. While he was doing that I wanted to see if I could get it out myself. Sure enough with 4lo/locked I was able to get enough momentum and drove in the ditch for about 30 yards until it leveled out and I could get back on the pavement haha Then after he got turned around he was going around a tree and slid off the road, which happened to be right next to a drop-off into trees... So I drove to him and he dug his tires out with a shovel and I tried pulling him out. After coming within inches of slamming his bed into a tree multiple times I was able to yank him out. So I can gladly say that I pulled out a full size chevy that was stuck in the snow, when all along I was the one stuck in the first place! :)

    Anyways, here's pics...

Here was the from the first time I got stuck... This is on a paved road just to give you an idea of how deep the snow is...
