Brent, dumb question, but are running a wheel spacer or was the back spacing on the rim enough?

Running 1/4" wheel spacers up front because my 15" wheels rubbed the brake calipers. Otherwise 3.75" backspacing is fine. 4" backspacing would work better in the rear, but it would look kind of funny if you had different backspaced wheels.

    In other news:

My order from Wheeler's and Right Channel Radios came in today. I'll go pick it up tomorrow.

I wasn't sure if they would be worth it. But I thought that it couldn't hurt.

I forgot to order them is what happened. When I realized it I just went and bought some grade 8 bolts from a hardware store. I covered them in grease and they still make all kinds of noise.

As much as I enjoyed the experience of installing my suspension, I'd rather not do all the work just to change two bolts. Certainly not in the winter anyway. Maybe a summer project when I can work on it outside, but certainly not now. My poor truck is suffering through below 0 temperatures as I type.

Hah, I forgot how much it sucks to work on your vehicle in the winter vs. working on it in the summer. It gets dark faster (I know I shouldn't be bitching about that w/ you ffirg) and then it's wet all the damn time

Yeah it's tough. I do have my parents garage that I can use, but only for short periods of time. Unless they're out of town. So anytime I use it I rush whatever project I'm doing so I don't have to park it overnight. I hope to find a place with a garage in the spring. Well, that's if I stop spending money on the truck...

And lots of broken plastic. I did my retrofit last year when it was -10 outside and found all sorts of broken plastic bits on the ground where I was working. I have no idea wtf I broke though haha :anonymous:

Just changed my bumper order to a DIY kit with the predator tubes that cover the headlights. :D

Eric at Relentless was a great guy to deal with over the phone!

And just got off the phone with AllPro Offroad.

They didn't have internet yesterday so they're having to catch up on invoices. But my order shipped out yesterday! :yay:

    I don't, I wish I did!

But there are some local welding shops that can weld it for me.

    I wish haha
Save money and wait time by taking the bumper to a shop that does industrial welding and sandblasting sounds better to me.

The center section comes welded together already as well. So it's not like they're having to do the whole thing, just the "wings".

Thanks for your opinion though

    Exactly my thoughts.

Haha it's metal? I don't see how it could be so hard to do? Now you're comparing a Ferrari to a Fab shop?

Hopefully you're wrong haha I don't see how it could be complicated. The shop already has pics of what the bumper looks like bare metal has asked for the thickness and type. I seems to me like they know what they're doing. But we'll see :notsure:

Haha I guess we'll see then. I doubt a company of certified welders will screw up a simple bumper.
