Build thread of my 2018 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 TRD Off Road. Bought it on September 22nd 2018 with 25 miles.

Plans for this will to eventually be a camping rig similar to how my 1st gen was built.

Removed the black vinyl between the windows and de-badged it as well.

Did the first wash and wax this evening. A couple scuffs on the hood, some scratches on the roof, and paint missing on the corner of one of the rocker panel seams. Can't expect too perfect of a paint job I guess.

Have some door cup guards and Total Chaos bed stiffeners on the way as well.

Installed some Total Chaos bed stiffeners this morning. Truck now has 6 more holes than it did from the factory. Glad I got that out of the way... Haha

Did some light off roading. Just enough to test out 4hi, 4lo, rear locker, and crawl control. Truck does really well for stock.

Hooked up my 12v socket that I was using on my 1st gen Tacoma for the fridge. Have it tucked in nicely right beside where the fridge will sit for now.

Also finished putting together the @Boogyman DIY Bed Rails™ for a temporary solution.

And lastly cleaned up my interior with some new Adam’s products I got today after @dakotasyota recommendation. Slowly swapping products out to their stuff as I run out. I’m loving all of it so far.

    No link to share unfortunately.

All it's made from is 1-5/8" x 1-5/8" unistrut with L-brackets bolting it to the bed rails using t-slot nuts. Those things and some nuts, bolts, and washers is all you need.

My tent came in yesterday just in time for a quick camping trip we had planned with some friends. Have to say the Tepui ruggedized is made of much nicer material than my old tent. Happy with the purchase so far.

The DIY bed rails are working pretty well, but I definitely want a taller bed rack soon. Planning on a Relentless bed rack as of right now.
