    Hi y'all,

Long time follower, first time posting . I finally, joined the taco family after upgrading from my 82' Pickup to an 18' Taco OR :headbang:.

I installed a SSO Slimeline offroad bumper with a Baja Designs 30in light bar and I am getting VSC+PCS errors when i put the truck into CRAWL control. I took the truck to the dealer (socal) and they recommended I remove the light bar and bumper. The tech said that the light bar and bumper are too close to the PCS and sensors.

Has anyone had similar issues with a similar setup? If so, how'd you resolve the issue.

Side note: the tech also recommended i reach out to Tacomaworld!

Also, in case you're wondering about my 82', she's still running!;)

You’re the first I’ve heard having this issue with the stock grill. The bumper hoop is well below the sensor (it’s behind the toyota emblem) so I can’t see it blocking anything. I’d call BS and maybe take it to another dealer, just be aware they may say the same when they see aftermarket parts.

I have the same bumper with the Pro grill so the sensor is even lower than yours... I've not had any issues at all.

Edit: It's possible I misread your post.

i wouldn’t imagine the radar cruise sensor has anything to do with crawl control, since it only engages above like 28mph anyway

I’d be curious of code number and description - i think some of the forum guys have the tech manual

UPDATE: I disconnected the lightbar from the battery and toggle switch from the 7.5A ignition fuse and everything appears to be working fine.

I suspect that the issue is related to my add-a-fuse splice for the toggle switch.

Did you ever hook your light bar back up. I have a 19 with oem pro grill, and today i put on a KC 2 row light bar and my PCS light is on. The bar is close to the grill sensor so I think I’ll lower it down a bit and maybe that will do the trick.

I ended up connecting the light bar without tapping into the fuse box.
