Do the new V6 models have PCV issues like the 4.0L's have? I know a lot of folks with 4.0L installed oil catch cans.

    Thanks

There has been some talk about it but IMO the port injection eliminates the need for a catch can on this truck.
Won't hurt it. But I doubt it needs one. Most direct Injection vehicles are running fine and have been for the past few years.

If direct injection created issues, I am more than sure it would be well known by now. There have been a few cases of issues but not something that is publicized. I think it's an overblown "issue"

There are no "PCV issues." They allow some crankcase fumes to ventilate throughout the engine to prevent a build up of excessive pressure. They are working as designed.

This is not a Direct Injection engine. This is Direct and Port Injection. We will not have the build up problems that Direct Injection only engines have

Aren't the 4.0L port injection? My 3.4L is port injection and doesn't have issues.

Those are both port injection only. Port injection engines don't have build up issues. The new 3.5 is also port injection with direct injection. You get the benefits of both
