    Hi all,

I posted this in the main Gen 1 forum and was directed to this regional forum (that I hadn't seen before)..

I've decided to have the motor rebuilt in my 1998 2.7l 4x4 Tacoma..

I'm not equipped to remove/replace the motor so need a place where I can drop the truck off and pick it up later.

Does anyone have any recommendations for places to go or places to stay away from?

There’s a shop in Gresham that deals in a lot of low mileage JDM engines. If you search for Tacoma engines on Craigslist they’ll come up. Looks like they do swaps and rebuilds. Seems like they have a good reputation, but I can’t speak on it personally.
Or maybe your regular mechanic would be into tackling the job?
