The weather forecast doesn't really mean anything when you're up there. Last time I went, it was raining all over the north shore and it was bone dry up at the flats.

We won't know until we get there so we'll need to drive out to find out. We can go all the way up to the top before making that decision.

We've done it before. Part of camping. Tent stays dry. Even drier with an air mattress and sleeping bags. There are also the shelters with picnic tables. Dogs love playing in the mud anyway. They are also kennel dogs, so they don't mind being kenneled for long periods. We also bring tons of rain gear.

My daughter is already complaining about sleeping in the outdoors, saying it's gonna be hot, and there's bugs and centipedes, etc...etc...lmao

In Marine Corps fashion, I told her to suck it up and she'll have fun regardless:D

She wants me to bring a fan as well...LMAO! I might have to bring an extension coord to run from my truck to power some small devices just to make her happy...

Kids are supposed to be miserable while camping, and learn to have fun anyway. Builds character ;)
