I'm just now getting the last of the camping stuff put away.. ran through a car wash which took care of 90% of the body mud (night and day difference) but then shooting down all the mud on the underside took a couple hours.

Special thanks to Jess for pulling my friend the first half back, and Miles for pulling him the second half, Mike for helping me get up that one hill the little "pre" couldn't (Very happy I got the locker. Made it to camp, but needed one pull up a hill on the way out. If was dry, I more than likely would have been good), and the pack leader Ivan for always making sure the pack was good.
Tons of food, memories for the moms that went with us, and no doubt good times...

    pics and vids to follow..

And of course, it rained on the way down... But not hard enough :( Would have been fun on the lower road. Next time :D

Thanks to my wife for taking a good series of pics at the hill climb! Happy mothers day to all the moms on the trip :)

It was unreal! Had a blast with a great bunch of people!...:) Just spent the last 3 hours cleaning the truck and getting rid of the red clay mess...hehe I drove to Hickam first on the way home and went to the power wash and there was a big sign, "No washing Muddy vehicles"...so I went right in:D The attendant kept giving me the stink eye as I spent about $15 in quarters power washing the undercarriage...lol After I got home, the red clay was still in the paint, so I went at it some more...All Pau!! It was worth it for sure.:D

My truck body is clean, but the suspension and frame is still red. Gonna pressure wash the undercarriage tomorrow on some rhino ramps.
    :edit:
Those last pics are funny. Only in Hawaii you can camp in the mountains, and then go to a nice white sand beach on the same day :D

I did that not too long ago at one near Big Nex where the Koa Pancake House is. The attendant made me sweep up all the mud chunks that fell out from underneath.

The next time we go out there, I'll try and come earlier so I can go in with all you guys. Looks like the bottom road was pretty fun. Hopefully I'll have my new tires on by then.

Well as of right now there are still 2 sites available for the memorial day weekend which will allow up to 28 people to stay and we will have to get "day passes for the extra vehicles"
