Peacock Flats - Fail

Have you tried sears? I know it's on their website. They won't bring in 37's, but stock sizes I'm sure they will.

Edit; Nevermind. They use to, but I dont see Cooper on their site now.

 

That's odd, I've ordered 265's from them before and just ordered some 285 Red Letters and they were able to ship them here.

 

I think it depends who the seller is. Companies can sell on Amazon. If it ships directly from Amazon then you usually get the free shipping.

 

I got one for you... UHA building, at Bishop and Ala Moana. But don't even try it, the sign says 6'2" and when my truck was stock it had half an inch to the sprinkler pipes.

Same goes for Chinese Muiciple building across from Walmart in down town. My stock truck gets super close.

Looking at approx. 1k give or take for 4 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ P3 installed at 4wp in Waipahu. Guy from 4wp parts said shipping to Waipahu is 8% of order cost.

4wp Waipahu can't order the tires for me as their discontinued in their system sooo shipping via. mainland 4wp site is ~$433. Seems like the tire discount is to clear out old stock.

Can probably get duratrecs for <$1000 installed out the door.

 

Went with Duratracs. I think it looks better and does fine in the sand, no air down necessary (so did the rugged fails though)

That stock 2wd sequoia on street tires only had to get pulled up a couple hills...

 

Making me feel bad . It was that muddy and in 4wd i was having as much trouble as the SUV.

Where the SUV was sliding forward going downhill I tried going up a section like that and was sliding backwards...with the breaks on. Scared the crap outta me...

If I can't make it up with the Duratracs I'm selling this truck and buying a geo metro

 

I was on duratracs in that video and had no real problems. Don't feel too bad. that day, a red 4x4 ford ranger with BFG KOs couldn't make it up a hill and had to turn back.

The camera work is sweet with the drone...musta been an epic trip!

Kinda sucks that only one camping permit per 30 days. Once I saw how slippery it was (I could hardly walk on the stuff without going tits up) I wanted to call it but pushed anyway due to having to pay for the permit and all. Should have seen the mud IN the truck.

Gave the keys to my dad and told him to have fun...he's going this weekend. He gets to try out the tires before me

I'll probably try again soon on a day pass...
