LOL! luckily that tree was the beginning of the trip! If was near the end, we would have probably been like "fuck it." and just drive right through it :D

Went to a bodyshop just to get an idea of the damage cost.. They want $1,166 which consist of having to repaint the whole bedside.... Not too obvious damage, so I may just touch-up paint (to avoid rust) and leave, or get a bumper... The estimator even said he would probably just leave if it was his truck, and planning to off-road again.. lol..

If Pelfrey had a high clearance in stock and ready to ship, I would probably go that route (and get it shipped with the Boss stuff), but they unfortunately don't.. Will either leave, or may need to go another route..:( to cover up the rear quarter panels.

Yeah that sounds about right Neil. I was getting quotes like that when I hit that trash can with the same fender. I found a smaller shop that did nice work who wanted $900, and then he shaved off $250 since I did some of the prep work beforehand. And then an extra $150 to paint that front piece above my bumper at the same time. His work wasn't perfect, but really good for the price. There is really only one spot I don't like, and I bet he would fix it no problem since he has a lifetime gaurentee, but it doesn't bother me enough to take it in again.

On a positive note, you did remember to bring the trailer harness relocation bracket. And I was able to install it and not break the harness on that one hill where my trailer hitch hit the ground.

Hey yall I'm just wondering if you guys have any somewhat specific details on peacock flats, at least the offroading part. I do have some questions.
1: is 4x4 required for the trail
2: are there side easier trails for 2wd trucks?
3: is the trail a there and back or is there and entrance and an exit?
