The guy with the silver jeep said he had an AK47 in it. He was up deRR for 8 days hunting....
The only thing he caught was that f**kin Toad driving the red jeep. Which in the jeep world, her model 1987 ,is the least sought after model.

Not sure Id take an AK hunting.. But the DLNR guy said it was all 12g, 20g, 410, and .22. No 7.62, although I swear we heard some .223's..

I want a 2 door JK! Motor trend said they have the worst resale value of everything so find a good used one

 

I almost bought one too. But went with the truck and Toyota reliability instead.

 

I had a WJ before the tacoma, and wanted some Toyota reliability as well. All the little things to fix on the Jeep were adding up, from ac controls and actuators, to bulb sockets, cv driveshaft, and even had to rebuild the trans. Worked well, and had no engine issues, but wanted to have a pickup. So now if I'm working on the truck, I'm modifying, not repairing.

 

My roommate had to do some engine work on his XJ before he could sell it for a decent price when he traded in for his Wrangler. The thing stalled like crazy and barely had any acceleration.

 

Forgot to mention...the group of sas trucks that were comming up as we were heading down, had the lifted, 4x4, red neck chevy station wagon, that Rick took a picture of with them.

Yup. The deaf guy that was helping us was driving a huge land cruiser with maybe 44's. He was comming up pretty wfo in 2 wheel drive. Spinning those big meats like mad. So yes, they made it slicker. When i drove up in the morning. It was nothing like that.

 

It was a pita....that's for sure.
