Peacock Flats Trip March 27-29

We got 5 trucks going up Friday morning and 4 trucks going up saturday morning. On Friday we can meet somewhere prior to the main gate around 10 then drive up to the main gate. LMK where we can meet.

Maybe go high road to camp on Friday. Then Saturday night we can try go driving around. Then on Sunday take the lower road out.

Probably a good idea. Going down the low road was fun.

 

The last gas stop is at 7-11 on the right side after the high school. Which is about 7 or so miles from the gate.

You guys can go up without us if you want. My fellow campers aren't down with leaving that early. Would have to leave my house 730ish. That way you guys can take the low road too

They want to leave 9ish and grab lunch. We would probably be of more like 1130-1200..

 

Go up the lower road, then turn around and go back down to provide escort for the nissan prerunner on the upper road
But take on the lower and tell him it's the upper

 

You'd think, but it's amazing how many times someone forgot to top off...

 

I was thinking Makaha beach park would be a great meeting spot. My hope is to get some cool scenic coast line shots as the Taco convoy drives along the final stretch to the entrance. If it is too much a hassle, no worries. I'm still planning on shooting you all on the trail either on friday or saturday. From the sound of it, Saturday will have the rest of the gang there so maybe then is the better trail shoot day or are you guys just planning on driving the trail at night on Saturday?

 

Probably saturday might do a night drive. Lmk if you going to camp over I will need to add you to the camping permit. PM if you are I will need your full name, driver license number & license plate number. We can meet you at makaha beach park on Friday at 10. If you are coming for the day u can get a day pass. At this late in the ball game might be easier to put you on the camping permit.
