Cv boot? No obviously not. Transmission? Absolutely. Drive shaft? Totally. Rear end? No doubt. Engine? Not even a question. The lift would have to DIRECTLY affect whatever part fails.

You're cute for trying though. I could just pinch those little cheeks!

Ordered one for my 2.7 MT. That's my only complaint about the truck so far is that the throttle is laggy. Worth a shot.

1.0 out of 5 starsBeware faulty product. Will cause engine codes and disengage gas pedal while driving.

This product is unsafe. It is faulty and causes gas pedal to deactivate while driving at high speeds. My pictures are attached.

The seller is also very harassing. Lives out of the country and makes harassing phone calls. Be aware

I know exactly what review you are referring to, unfortunately that person had a few geographical and religious issues with the owner of our company... he also states that we are not based in the USA which is also false he also left reviews for products he didn't buy "WAS NOT A VERIFIED"

take a look at his review PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS NOT A AMAZON VERIFIED PURCHASE .....

How can you leave a review for a product you didn't buy? We are pretty certain he worked for another company and was just trying to hurt our sales or image.

also I am certain we are in the USA because I drive to work every day down the 101 Fwy here in SoCal.

Like I said before.... We offer a 14 day money back guarantee...if you dont like it after a week return it...

go to www.pedalcommander.com and use coupon code tacomaworld40 and that will get you $40 off your order I am putting my card in everyones box if you guys need any help, ALL of my contact info is on there and I am dedicated to the Toyota community and we will make it right and or answer anyones question about our product

    Larry,

I understand how your product works however can you explain what the "ECO" setting does compared to stock and how it would improve the fuel economy?

I think I'm going to take the plunge, if there is one thing I would change about this truck it would be the throttle lag.

Will this help with the rev hang that sometimes happens between shifts in the V6 MT?

So what Pedal Commander does to achieve our "ECO MODE" we increase the resistance coming out of the TPS for slower acceleration so it opens your throttle body slower and will make the car/truck shift earlier.

(Jax she works here in the office she has a 2015 Tundra 5.7 Crew Max MPG before Pedal Commander was installed averaged 12 MPG and after she had it installed her avg between two tanks of gas went up to 16 MPG NOTE: that was only driving on ECO mode)

Will do. I'm curious myself after reading all the internet hate/but-it-works threads for other vehicles. I get how this works by just modifying the TPS signal. Lots of folks say it's no different than just pressing the pedal further, but then people who have them installed say it feels much different than that. It makes me wonder if the ECU responds one way (normal) if it sees the TPS ramp from say 0%-2%-3%-4%-5%-n% vs seeing the TPS ramp from 0%-30%-31%-32%-32%-n% which is what I think would happen with a device like the pedal commander. Just a thought. Mine has shipped so we'll see Monday, perhaps.

Yes when PC is installed and in City, Sport and or Sport + the RPM's will drop faster between shifts because we are closing the throttle body flap faster. I can program the device to drop RPMs faster or slower depending on you. when we program them for track cars the guys like them to drop slower easier for them to rev match downshifts and keep the car up in the R's longer so basically the opposite of what you are looking for. So to answer your question absolutely it will make the car drop RPMs faster.

@LSartore - Anything that would improve engine-braking response in the MTs would be appreciated.

Curious to see some reviews here.

Will it change it drastically from what you get by using the ECT button?

Yes our ECT button makes are vehicles stay in gear longer and let it rev higher where as PC will actually improve on the throttle delay... at least with my experience I dont notice to much of a difference in response time with ECT engaged

if my truck was here i'd also buy today, and thanks for the discount code LSartore!

the whole reason i spend 3 months trying to get an MT truck is so i can have the full control operator experience we old-schoolers expect. rev hang and delay are like the nannies i'm trying to avoid, so this has been a good thread for info... enough to want to try it after checking out the stock behavior.
