Yeah, I'm guessing the ECO mode works but feels really crappy to drive. I suppose it would be useful if you need to get good mileage but can't force yourself to drive like a granny. The sprintbooster version of this product has a valet mode... not something I think I'll ever need with the 2.7 :)

For me, I want a pedal I don't have to mash to the floor to make it accelerate properly and I'd like more immediate engine braking when modulating the throttle in low gear.

When I bought it from their website, I got a receipt from their website and ALSO from Viatan (or however it's spelled) too, so I think Pedal Commander is possibly owned by Viatan or maybe that's where their product is manufactured from. Mine should be arriving tomorrow, gonna install it tomorrow and give it a shot, won't be able to test it to the fullest since it's snowing pretty hard here right now but I'll know right away if this things worth $260 or if I got a bunch of smoke blown up my ass

also I noted that the AMAZON site seller is Viaten has a 30 day money back guarantee, whereas the dude here LSartore a manager says his is a 2 week, or 14 day guarantee on the sale at TW, I guess his feels its better to discount it $40 and then cut the guarantee back 16 days to make sure that he can deny returns if you are over 14 days and want to return it, IMO if the product is truly legit most manufactorers will give a 90 day full refund because they stand behind the product and the claims they made for it and aren't worried about returns. Here is some more AMAZON reviews from the Tundra truck buyers https://www.amazon.com/product-revi...ewpoints=1&filterByStar=critical&pageNumber=1

Mush Mouse--- I don't know why I am having to continually prove myself to you...all you have done here is knock my product down and throw doubt at me since day 1.... since you like reviews so much head on over here there is 20+ pages for you.

Vitalen Auto Performance is our parent company that owns Chipwerke and Pedal Commander.

Amazon set up our vendor account to have a 30 day guarantee.

NO!!! I am not cutting your guys guarantee down because of a discount what kind of business practice is that ? ? ?

NOT 1 COMPANY WIL LET YOU INSTALL A PRODUCT AND TRY IT FOR 90 DAYS AND RETURN IT... GET REAL! I DO STAND BEHIND MY PRODUCT AND ALL MY CLAIMS ARE TRUE AND CORRECT

Just got it in the mail. Damn fast shipping. There's a foot and a half of snow outside right now but gonna install it and then I'll give it a shot (to the best of my ability) and give an honest review of it. And for the return limit on it, Amazon makes vendors give a 30 day return window regardless of what a company wants because Amazon has there "A-Z guarantee" so I think the company itself has a 14 day guarantee unless you buy it on Amazon.

Ok, I just installed it. Left my door open (so it wouldn't auto lock) and my key fob in my house as per the instructions. I got in my truck and waited 5 minutes until everything turned completely off and tried to install it with the door closed (pretty much bending down like an idiot) until I realized I had to do it with the door open. I opened the door and installed it that way, was worried that the "open door" sensor would turn the other systems on and make an error message pop up but it didn't. So as long as you leave the key fob in the house you don't have to worry about an error message regardless if the doors open or not

Installation was easy, just unclick the cord from the gas petal, and click the male and female end of the pedal commander in, then started my truck and it was good to go

So it's installed now, haven't mounted it yet because I'm still gonna see if it actually works or not. Gonna drive around base and try the different modes and post a review of it afterwards

Well shit, that was pretty fun. I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty skeptical about it actually working, but was willing to give it a shot and see if it made even a slight difference. Drove around base for about 30 minutes on the plowed roads and tried the different modes and I have to say, I'm honestly pretty impressed! Even the ECO mode felt better than driving stock (without the device on), but city mode was perfect. Felt like I was driving an actual vehicle. I kept coming to a complete stop and driving against and not only was the acceleration rate really good, but the gear shifting felt like something you'd feel in a sports car. It's definitely gonna take a while to get used to having to "feather" the pedal, but I love the fact that each mode has 8 different sensitivity settings for the exact feel you want. I definetly want to drive with it more especially on dry roads (the roads here are pretty icy and have no traction right now) but even with the roads being how they are, I felt a huge difference. $240 VERY well spent in my book. I'll review each mode below this

ECO Mode - Feels exactly what you'd expect from the name, not very quick (but still feels like you have more control than stock). Felt like my truck had alot better traction when I turned and also accelerated

CITY Mode - This is where the moneys at in my opinion. Felt like driving a normal car. Quick acceleration rate from a complete stop. When the truck shifts gears, it doesn't feel like it takes a step back and then jumps forward, it's a very quick shift and you barely feel it (which is what I love most). Honestly this is the mode that sold me, this is what I'll probably stay at for my daily driving

SPORT Mode - DON'T USE IN SNOW!!!!!!! No seriously, big mistake, pressed the pedal slightly and my truck tried to take off, back end did a slight fishtail but straighten itself out. Tried this for about 30 seconds before realizing that as badass as it is, definitely need to wait until the roads and dry again to give this a shot. I think modes like this are meant for sport cars and not trucks, CITY mode is fine for me

SPORT+ Mode - Didn't review this one because of how the roads are right now, but I'm just gonna go ahead and assume this is the uncaged beast of modes.

And last but not least. Parked in my driveway, turned the truck off, turned it back on, and to my pleasant surprise the device went back to the mode it was on before I turned the truck off. No more having to hit the ECT button every time I get in

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this. It fixed something that Toyota should have fixed a long damn time ago. Hats off to you Larry, and thanks for the discount. Looking forward to the other guys review who bought it as well since they'll have tried it on dry road hopefully

Mounted it, I'll clean up the wire a little nicer with some tape most likely, just so there's no chance of it coming out while I'm driving

No problem, and I know what you mean haha the wife wasn't too happy when I told her I found something else I "need" for the truck haha, but it's worth it. Just don't understand why Toyota couldn't do this on their own, but hey, at least now I'm in complete control and can change the modes whenever I please.
