I have a 2018 TRD Sport and about a year ago I installed a Pedal Commander on the truck. I was not after increased performance so much as I was hoping it would help with the acceleration which at times was erratic. I found that on Eco mode +4 worked well for me. I was at a drive-in restaurant yesterday and decided I would turn it off using my Iphone. When I went to leave the place the truck would not accelerate as normal. At first I thought maybe the floor mat was hung up in there somehow. I looked at the dash and damn near all the idiot lights were on and the DIC was flashing something about Pre Collision. The truck was in Limp mode. I could barely reach 50mph and was a real hit on the highway coming home. Got into the garage and pulled out the PC remote - could not turn PC off. I removed the unit and all is well with the truck as all lights are off. No more PC for me. Anyone else have this problem? It had something to do with the app or Bluetooth.

    That sucks man.

Read the same in reviews and some TW members had the same experience. Thats why im eager on installing one.

Although, i personally know a guy with 17 taco and he had PC for couple years, no issues. Seems like its hit and miss.
