Hello, I have a 2017 Taco and purchased the Pedal Commander. It worked for a few weeks and one day, all of a sudden, the Taco displayed a "low power mode" and it did not passed 25mph. I took it to the dealer and they claimed that I installed something on the accelerator pedal (I took it off before taking it to the dealership). Has anyone seen this before? I loved how it felt with the Pedal Commander. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Jose

I bought a new pedal commander on eBay and got it last week. It sucked. First off, the lights didn’t seem to work properly. When I cycled through the modes, all sorts of random lights lit up. Also Bluetooth was intermittent. Maybe it was used? Faulty? Idk. Also when I got it to work I could notice a small different, but it wasn’t that great, wasn’t impressed.

throw that piece of sh*t in the garbage before something worse happens, people buy a $40,000 truck and then invest in aftermarket junk that they think will make it run better in the end breaks the truck is beyond me, must have a lot of money to waste

Yup I’m glad I returned that junk. Had it on for a total of 10 minutes.

PC has a 30 day, no questions asked, return policy so long as you buy it from them directly or their one (1) authorized dealer on eBay or Amazon. I forget the name, but it's listed on their web site. I think there's an issue with knockoffs or resellers, either way, the responsibility falls on the consumer to ensure what they're modifying on their vehicle is safe. Also, the directions state when installing/uninstalling, you have to disconnect the battery.
