I have a 19 TRD PRO that I love but haven't been too happy with the throttle response. It seemed like I had to push the pedal way too much to get it to go anywhere. I had a Ram 5.7 I traded in for the Pro so I thought maybe this is just how it's gonna be. After a lot of research and YouTube videos I finally decided to order one. I'm telling you I couldn't be more happier than I am now! It is like driving a new truck! If you've been on the fence on buying one DO IT!!!

Agreed. Dispite anyone input on what it is or isnt, or if it actually works or is only a placebo effect. Mine also works noticeably well. Not a hp gainer, I submit, but a huge improvement in pedal response

ECT didn’t make any difference at take off. There’s no comparison between the 2.

I’m on the fence about one. My main concern is adding aftermarket electrical components only to have them fry something on the truck. I don’t need performance. I need reliability. But it also would be nice to get rid of the dead pedal

imagine if there was a mechanical connection between gas pedal and throttle. Like some kind of cable or something. Imagine the throttle response.

I have a pedal commander and ECT always on mod.
Between the two of these... the truck is much nicer to drive...

Been driving with my pedal commander for 2 months now. I played with a few settings settled in on city -1 works perfect for me. It’s quite peppy now have to be careful I don’t roast my tires at start every time. I tried driving with the ECT button on all the time but the pedal commander is way better and I have the ability to tweak it on how I want to drive right from the app on my phone. I have no worries about how it connected or interfering or damaging my electrical. Big plus I can take it back off in 30 seconds right before I take it into the dealer for service.

I got direct feedback from the company about this.

    Two things possible...

    1) Counterfeit products sold on Amazon.
    2) Changing settings while pedal is pressed.

I bought mine right from Pedal Commander. (Exact same price as Amazon)
I dont mess with it unless my foot is off the pedal.

I havent had any troubles whatsoever.

    That will go away completely.
You wont need to stroke the pedal more than an inch total no matter how youre driving. Just set the unit to the pedal feel you like best.
I think i have mine on sport +1
It completely changes the feel of the truck.

Any setting more aggressive than that... and it feels too jumpy. Just barely touch the pedal and it will leap forward or spin tires. lol

I like the Pedal Commander it’s Bluetooth and you can change everything with the phone app. Wires and the little box are hidden.
