I think they are great, it will help with the throttle lag. I use the Sprint booster as they are a smaller unit, easier to hide or simply set it and remove it and a better warranty. I love the way mine drives coupled with my TRD CAI, pro exhaust and a tsb58. I didn't care for anything else as the Sprint booster made driving my truck a lot better, not saying the ov tune is bad, just not for me.

You’re gonna get split answers here. I have the PC and the Shiftsense pro. They work in perfect harmony. I didn’t pay retail, so the overprice comments you will likely get doesn’t hold weight with me since I paid pennies on the dollar. The PC adjusts the throttle lag with enough settings to from ECO to this little V6 can squeal the tires?! The honest truth though is, if you can afford it and have a Microsoft laptop you should opt for the OVTune/VFTuner. It has many other benefits built in and is updatable. Although if you’re on a budget or are happy with everything but the lag then the PC will satisfy your needs. My two cents.

I've had a pedal commander for about 3 months and like it a lot. I've taken it out before taking the truck in for service, and the lag in throttle response is very apparent and I can't wait to hook it back up. It's not giving you any extra HP or Torque, but man the throttle response is definitely worth it.

i have PC - had it for probably 3-4 months now. I'm a big fan personally. It doesnt improve HP but just throttle response. If thats what you're looking to accomplish i think its worthwhile.

Always thought about a 50 shot or a 75 shot in the Tacoma since I had a 2nd gen

would not be a bad idea tbh

I have seen both talked about, and honestly, OVtune, for what they are wanting price wise.. might as well go with PC. To each their own, but, how can you justify spending $$$ to tune a car? I would rather use PC, then get some nice mods on my truck and still have money in my pocket.

Some ppl are buying the VF tune product for the sole purpose of changing alternator output voltage (AGM batteries).
    To each their own.
Personally I would never spend thousands on re-gear, fancy suspension, armor, custom wheels, winch, high end audio, etc.
Again, to each their own. Not my money.
If you want to talk specifics and not opinions or pricing, it is true that OVtune deals with the root cause of the throttle lag (and a lot more) whereas a device like PC modifies the accelerator position signal input to the ECM. It's not the same thing, that's simply a fact.
Not bashing the PC product at all, if you like it that's great.

That's great but some people aren't interested in the OV Tune, myself included. I am interested in the PC though.
