No, just the front. I needed the front edge of the seat cushion higher to support my thighs, the jackers worked great.

Interesting (or sad depending on how you look at it), I feel Toyota did a great job on the interior layout and style but the actual ergonomics of the driving position seems so uninspired to me -- like the guy in charge of the seat to steering wheel section was having a bad day.

All manufacturers have been improving ergonomics for many years, plus we are talking Toyota here not some start up and I am at 5' 11" a pretty average guy, so how can my 1997 XJ Cherokee have a more comfortable seat without modification?

You have a condition called "Tighteous Asseus." Use some lubricant. 0w20 or similar.

Interesting, I just got a microdiscectomy on my L5S1. It was causing me tremendous right leg pain from crushing the nerve. Seated position was the worst for this pain. Wonder if this seat contributed to it.

So you are a doctor coming to a Toyota forum to find out what's causing your knee pain, that's seems even stranger.

Same here, if l were going to do anything with the seats it would be to raise the front.

I just installed the desert does it front seat risers. Got everything in and set up. Plopped on it to get a feel and it made a world of difference. Immediate relief for my right hamstring. I'll come back after a long ass day tomorrow and let ya know what it feels like

Didn't do shit for me, except make the space between the steering wheel and my thighs 0.00 inches. now I have to shimmy in the drivers seat. It wasn't great to start with, but these made it worse and don't seem to add anything to ride comfort.

Trigger point therapist to work out the muscle/fascia knots in your legs (or do it yourself with rollers), then leg exercises and stretching to balance muscle strength in leg and improve flexibility so that the muscle/facsia knots don't come back. If your muscles are in balance, you could drive twisted into a pretzel, and still feel no pain.

The reason chronic joint/muscle pain comes with age is that we accumulate trigger points all over our body due to muscle atrophy or overuse over the years, and they never get worked out cause you can't get rid of them with R.I.C.E (RICE usually makes them worse) or current medical practices like cortizone shots. Those knots just love to squeeze nerves and refer pain to other parts of the body. The one most common therapy that has been proven to work (i.e., massage) is not even covered by most insurance plans. But ineffective pain killers and surgeries are covered, so guess what gets prescribed.

Sorry for the digression, struck a nerve (pun intended of course).

Alright so I drove to stoney lonesome 3 and some change one way wheeled for several hours and drove home. All in all about 13 hours. Right leg felt fine (hamstring issue started to get really bad the last 3 weeks) had to adjust the steering wheel. We all know that's a joke. As well as the distance of the seat. Shouldn't be any surprise. Back was alright til about hour 11, again, shouldn't be surprising just got antsy as anyone would that long. So far its worth it on the leg thing alone. Id buy it again.

I had bad sciatic 5 years ago. I was told to stretch and do more “core” workouts which eventually healed me up. In doing so I got addicted to the gym/lifting for the purposes of looking as yoked / lean as possible. While this takes a lot of time and is quite vain ... I have never once been injured form a long road trip , pickup things, long flights, standing on my feet all day or sitting at the desk (like I did before gymbro life). If you lift smart and safe over the years it’s the best injury prevention ever.
