Recently I have been feeling a click in both the accelerator and brake pedals when I turn my steering wheel. The click happens at regular intervals and while parked and moving. I don’t feel it in the steering wheel and it’s mostly when I turn the wheel to the left. I haven’t had any sort of collision or hit any awkward bumps recently. Has anyone experienced this and what should I check?

See if you get the click when you step in the brake rolling forward or back 5 mph.
“Pad rock” is normal. Just some are more pronounced than others. I stopped mine by putting on a second anti-rattle spring. If this is the scenario, it’s harmless

Hmm. I do feel it while rolling but I don't even have to be applying pressure to either pedal. Would the anit-rattle spring have an effect on the accelerator as well as the brake pedal and why do you think it would be mainly when turning the wheel left? Thanks for the information.

    No it wouldn’t…
Have you had any work done requiring a skid plate removal, mods, oil change, etc?

It sounds like it might be something in the steering column, maybe a bearing or something.

I don’t know what you are feeling, but I tell you that Neither pedal is connected mechanically to anything other than the firewall. The brakes are hydraulic and throttle is electronic.

Reminds me of when i was a kid and me and my friends would take playing cards and clothes pins and attach the cards to our bikes so the wheel spokes would hit the cards as we were pedaling around.

Nothing since I started experiencing the issue. An oil change about 1k miles ago but the issue started in the past 200. That's the only work done recently.

I was thinking it may be there but I don't see why it would affect the pedals since there is no physical connection. Thanks for any other insights you have.

    Well, I’ll be honest.
It could be 100 different things.
Without me driving it and feeling it, it’s a crap shoot and I’m not going to send you down an unknown path. I will say this.
If you’re feeling it in the pedals it has to be direct body/frame and quite strong. Something that strong you think you would feel it in the wheel.
I have found loose body mount bolts, rad support bolts loose, tools laying against the frame.
    Loose alignment bolts.
    Broken sway bar bolt.
    The list is endless.
Going to have to get your hands in there while someone turns the wheel. if you need to have it running for gods sake pay attention. That shit will make you ruined for the rest of your life.
    Be smart.

Emphasizing the last part. Just had a patient have tertiary surgery to his hand because of a timing belt while it was running and I can’t for the life of me understand what he was doing there with the vehicle on

That’s why I use stethoscopes, long screwdrivers, engine ears…
